FUN AND FACTS
January 2003 the band is booked solid for the entire year
for the first time before the year starts.


March 2003 there is talk about doing our own music
just to keep things interesting. The band
starts writing together for the first time

May 2003 Bill meets up with an old friend
who just happens to have recently built
a state of the art ProTools based digital recording
studio and he is interested in working with the band

July 2003 Jay invites Bill to Jamaica for a 4 day party.
Bill fit right in with the rest of the gang and is now
the newest member of the council.

Novemebr 2003 Dan leaves the band. South Street is now
a 4 piece band and working to redefine the sound.

Novemebr 2003 the PA system is upgraded. Song lists are

modified and the general band consensus is we are OK

December 2003 Tony V started running sound  and has
become a important part of the band.
 

February 2004 we decide to go ahead with our own
CD but can't decide on a name for it. First tracks
put down and the excitement is high.

May 2004 we meet tambourine girl for the first time.
She stole the show and now wants to be a rock star.

July 2004 the annual trip to Jamaica takes place and
Bill and Jay survive the 4 day onslaught of home made
HIGGY BREW. At least that's what they can remember.

August 2004 we get a gig for a backyard party and guess who
wanted us to play. Tambourine girl of course. She jammed
with us on and off during the day. She was feeling no pain

October thru December 2004 we spend
mixing and mastering our CD which by the way
is titled LONG HARD ROAD. It ain't as easy as
you think to make a CD
